The name "full force" in Full Force Self-Defense & Fitness simply refers to my underlying life philosophy of whatever you go after in life, whether it be in fitness, combat, or anything else, you go at it with everything you've got! Don't let anyone hold you back, and just as importantly, don't hold yourself back.
I’ve told people countless times in self-defense seminars that if they are confronted on the street or their well-being is threatened, that they must fight back with absolute fury and to go FULL FORCE, not holding anything back! A street attack is often very fast and very violent. We must respond back to such with equal or greater force; it’s the best chance for survival.
Every movement I show or technique that I teach is grounded in the underlying ideal of being used with full force. If you see me fight or train, I try to embody this idea with each strike and every movement. When the moment comes to launch an attack, do not hold back. If you've got a fitness goal or a new personal record that you're wanting to achieve, you will not reach it by staying in your comfort zone. Learn to go beyond and thrive at 100%! I approach training and even life the same way. We are here for a limited time to make an impact; let’s go after it with Full Force.

ABOUT DON

Don Judkins graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Physiologist and has experience working with a variety of individuals from athletes to those with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, stroke, heart disease, and cancer. Don has also worked in many fields of health and wellness including personal training, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, medical weight loss, corporate wellness, and health coaching.
Don has also been training in the martial arts for over 25 years. He’s a former 3rd degree black belt in Wado-Ryu Karate, 2023 WAKO National Kickboxing Champion, and trains with MMA fight team, the Lawrenceburg Combat Club, in boxing, kickboxing, & Jiu-Jitsu. He has also competed in mixed martial arts and full contact, bare-knuckled karate fights as well. He has taught self-defense classes throughout middle Tennessee over the past 9 years to help raise money for multiple non-profit organizations and their causes. Don enjoys teaching others the basics of self-defense to help provide them with a foundation for protecting themselves. |
